There's so much to see and do...

Mountain Biking

The countryside around the town is perfect for Mountain Biking. Rugged Off-Road tracks and empty roads with very few people around mean that you can enjoy your favourite passtime in relative peace and quiet. And at the end of a busy day hurling yourself around the hillsides there are plenty of bars in the town to stop at and take on refreshment.

Walking

Most of the year the weather is nice and sunny in and around the town. For walkers it is always very pleasant, with various terrain and some fabulous views to behold. And with the backdrop of snow capped mountains, there are plenty of photo opportunities too. And if the pressure of serious walking is too much, the town is also a nice place for a lazy stroll.

Restaurants

There are around four quality restaurants in the town and we have eaten in them all. They are all quit different in terms of ambience but one thing they do all have is wonderful Spanish food. For lighter meals most of the bars serve basic dishes and typical Free Spanish Tappas

Skiing

At Europe's most Southernly Ski Resort on the Sierra Navada Mountains it is possible to enjoy your favourite sport whilst maintaining a glorious tan. The mild temperatures on the slopes can extend the skiing season compared with other resorts. If Skiing is your thing, there are a lot worse places on the planet!

Alhambra Palace

In around an hour by car, you can be in the city of Grenada with the amazing Alhambra Palace (Don't pronounce the H). This is considered by many to be one of the wonders of the modern world, with its fine examples of Nasris Architecture. Beautifully rich ceramic and plasterwork covered walls and exquisitely carved wooden frames are a feast for the eyes.

Cycling

Serious Cyclists will love the roads around the town and all over the Costa Tropical region. You can even try your luck at climbing the Pico de Veleta, the highest road in Europe! Here you can experience the most gruelling climbs and breathtaking descents that the Sierra has to offer

Sun Bathing

Hardy classed as an activity, however many folks love to do it. And what better place than on the good sized Rooftop Terrace with great views down the valley from one side and the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Navada mountains on the other. There is also the Pool Area where you can enjoy the crystal clear water and sprays.
